2008 marks the 20th anniversary since Pope John Paul II wrote Mulieris Dignitatem (On the Dignity and Vocation of Women). In his apostolic letter, Mulieris Dignitatem, John Paul II meditates on the anthropology of man and woman, God’s intention for their relationship, and the result of original sin. He also explores the relationship that Jesus had with women and the reason for the all-male priesthood. This specific document was the catalyst for the creation of ENDOW as an organization, and it is the root of the work we do through this apostolate.
ENDOW has been invited to participate in the international congress in Rome from February 7-9, 2008, convened in honor of this 20th anniversary. (Click here to learn more!) As such, Terry Polakovic, the Executive Director of ENDOW, wrote a three-part series for the Denver Catholic Register.
