How-To Guide
Here are the simple steps for starting an Endow group. Begin your journey with prayer, and consider inviting a friend to co-host for additional support. Complete the remaining items in the order that works best for you. Discover more about hosting by visiting our Host FAQs.
Pray
Begin your hosting journey by asking the Holy Spirit to guide you in choosing your group’s study and creating an invitation list. As you host, continually ask the Holy Spirit for constant guidance and protection for you and your group.
The best way for you to serve the women in your group is to stay close to the Lord and allow Him to guide you.
Choose your study
Some women decide on the study they want to host before inviting their group members, while others wait and let the group choose with them. It’s up to you!
We recommend starting with our most popular and foundational study, Letter to Women. This beautiful letter, written to all women of the world, introduces Pope St. John Paul II’s concept of the feminine genius, reflecting his esteem and reverence for the gift of womenhood.
Invite women to participate
Already have a group of ladies in mind? Invite them to your Endow group and encourage them to bring a friend!
Need help finding women to participate? Sign up on our Connect with Endow Women form to find other women in your area interested in Endow.
You can choose to invite women face to face or via phone, email, text, or handwritten invitation…whatever works for you! To achieve the recommended group size of 6-12 women, we recommend inviting a larger number of potential participants.
Order your Studies
Once you have decided on a study and have an idea of who will be in your group, it’s a great idea to get your studies ordered before your first meeting!
You can decide whether you would like to order all the studies for the group or if you’d prefer that each woman order her own study guide. Allow up to a week to receive your order.
Scheduling your Endow group
Decide on a welcoming environment that prioritizes comfort, privacy, and the ability to foster engagement, community and spiritual growth. Many women host at their home, parish, library, park, or a coffee shop. Feel free to be creative!
Fun hosting tip: Some groups choose to rotate locations weekly, with each meeting hosted at a different group member’s home!
In addition to selecting a location, choose the day and time that your group will meet. Many groups choose to meet weekly, while some find it works best to meet bi-weekly or monthly.
Schedule a mentor call with our staff and we can help bring Endow to your parish!
Last touches!
Once your group is confirmed, send out a welcoming email or text letting your women know all the details (time, place, dates, special instructions).
Finally, register your group. Registering helps us know how we can support you, pray for you, and continue your experience with Endow!
