Hosts are the Heart of Endow

As an Endow host, you will facilitate an 8-12 week study in your home or parish. Your YES to hosting an Endow group is the first step to bringing intentional community and a deep understanding of their feminine identity to women in your area.

An Endow host is not a teacher nor a theologian. She is not a philosopher nor the voice of Truth. At Endow, we understand that Truth has its own gentle way of speaking. Our hosts are there to “make easy” the voice of Truth.

An Endow host is a generous soul who becomes a channel of grace in the lives of her group members. By hosting an Endow group, she expresses her feminine gifts of receptivity, sensitivity, generosity, and maternity.

Embracing the Feminine Genius

In his teachings on the dignity of women, Pope St John Paul II emphasized the qualities of receptivity, sensitivity, generosity, and maternity as integral aspects of the feminine genius, expressing that women possess a unique capacity for nurturing relationships, empathy, and self-giving love. He viewed these qualities as strengths, essential for enriching society and building a culture of life and love.

An embracing of the following qualities will enrich your role as an Endow host:

  • Receptivity: Your openness and warmth creates a safe space where all women feel welcomed and valued, laying the foundation for meaningful connections and authentic dialogue within your Endow group.
  • Sensitivity: Your ability to empathize and understand the experiences of others and your sensitivity to their needs fosters a sense of belonging and encourages honest sharing and growth within the group.
  • Generosity: Your willingness to give of yourself for the well-being of others enriches the Endow experience for all. Your generosity in sharing your time, insights, and personal experiences creates a supportive community and empowers women to explore their faith and deepen their understanding of Catholic teachings.
  • Maternity: As an Endow host you become a spiritual mother, embodying the nurturing and maternal love that Pope John Paul II celebrated in women. Your guidance and mentorship provide an environment where women can flourish and grow in their relationship with God and each other.
