Endow helps young women learn how to apply the Church’s teachings to their daily lives.
During middle school and high school, we have a timely opportunity to help spiritually form young women in the teachings of the Church and in the truth of Jesus Christ. As their faith becomes more fully defined, so does their potential to become a transforming influence in the family, the community, and society as a whole.
If you’re new to Endow, we are so glad you’re considering the opportunities here for young women.
What Happens in Endow Groups for Youth?
Our youth program primarily consists of study groups of 10 to 30 girls who meet in local schools, parishes, or members’ homes.
In every Endow youth group, girls read Sacred Scripture, catechesis, and portions of Pope John Paul II ’s Letter to Women. They also do fun group activities and engage in discussion and journaling.
With thoughtful curriculum and trained facilitators, girls explore issues like dignity, authentic love, and self-esteem in the face of today’s media culture, pressures, and temptations. Girls reflect on their development and character formation, as well as examine their relationships with peers and the opposite sex.
As girls explore and understand what it means to be a feminine person created and loved by God, the ultimate goal is to invite each one into a deeper, more profound relationship with Jesus Christ.
Middle school study guides include 4 chapters to be covered in 4 sessions or in a one-day retreat format, depending on the pace that works best for the group. High School study guides include 8 chapters to be completed in 8 to 16 sessions or in a 2 to 4 day retreat format, depending on the pace that works best for the group. There’s no homework in any of the youth study groups—just the group gathering itself with young women who desire to learn.
How Much Does It Cost?
The fee to enroll in our middle school youth program is $40 per study. Enrollment in our high school program is $60 per study. This fee helps cover Endow’s investment in curriculum development, as well as facilitator training, group resources, outreach and scholarships.
However, enrollment fees cover just over half of the cost to sustain Endow’s ministry as a nonprofit organization. The remaining half comes from gracious financial gifts that have made it possible or our mission to reach you. Learn more about supporting Endow’s mission to educate women and transform our culture.
With enrollment, girls have the opportunity to:
Connect in faith and friendship
- Engage in a study group experience with a trained facilitator
- Receive a personal copy of the study guide developed by Endow; shipping of curriculum to the group facilitator at no additional charge
- Special for the Girl Genius middle school series: Receive a journal binder to hold all three study guides in the series
Where Do We Start?
Defining Dignity: Girl Genius Part 1 (for middle school girls)
What is my worth as a young Catholic woman?
True Beauty Revealed (for high school girls)
How can I be a Catholic young woman when the world wants me to be something else?
Start with reaching girls right where they are—in your local school, parish or community organization. In Catholic schools, Endow curriculum is a natural fit and an ideal tool for teachers or parent volunteers to use.
We offer curriculum especially developed to reach middle school and high school girls in ways that are relevant to their age. Endow can help you form or join a youth group.
Endow also offers youth-oriented speakers for your next retreat, rally or festival. We’ll even come lead your youth group for a more focused day or overnight retreat.
